What about the UK? Well, unfortunately there have been no card sightings yet. But that doesn’t mean RTX 4090 stock won’t reappear today or maybe over the weekend.

However, we expect more and more pre-built PCs to appear. It’s the only one on Ebuyer so far, and considering it costs £4999, it’s got a bit of ground to spare in addition to the RTX 4090. You also get a 12th generation i9 processor, 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a 4TB SSD. There’s also a three-year warranty (one year on parts, three years on labor) to soften the sticker shock a bit.

Even so, it’s a lot of money upfront. And since it’s currently the only pre-made build (and card!), Ebuyer can charge whatever they want. Before we bite into this one, we’ll consider holding back a bit and see what other prefabs pop up.

Okay, so after a quick survey of US retailers this morning, there’s not much to choose from. Third-party merchants have started popping up on Newegg – do you know where this is going? – and you can pick up a Zotac Gaming RTX 4090 Trinity card for a whopping $2249.99. Of course, this is a predatory price to say the least. Don’t buy it unless you really need fancy cooling and RGB, the better prices will come back.

If you don’t mind the wait, B&H Photo has a nearly identical Zotac RTX 4090 card available for pre-order for a much more reasonable $1649.99. There’s no ship date, but unlike everything else for the RTX 4090 in the store at the moment, the pre-order button is still active and you can complete the transaction, so it looks like a good chance. And heck, if you get lucky elsewhere before this one ships, just cancel it.

The first day of the RTX 4090 launch is officially over and almost all retailers selling the card have run out of stock. But don’t worry! After several years of scalpers dominating the GPU market due to low supply, the situation has finally stabilized (for the most part, anyway) this year. As a result, consumers should expect to be able to find new graphics cards like the RTX 4090 more easily in the coming days, weeks, and months after launch.

While most stores are currently sold out, you should still keep an eye out for all the deals we’ve highlighted in this live blog. New waves of RTX 4090s are likely coming soon to satisfy the PC gaming community’s ravenous demand for GPUs, so as always, don’t give up and keep refreshing.

Notably, Newegg still has the ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 4090 Trinity available at the time of writing. It’s quite expensive at $2,250, but it’s also a very elite version of the card with advanced cooling, RGB lighting and more. So we expect the stock to be online in less than 90 minutes, but that is far from confirmed. However, our advice is if you would like to shop at any of the above stores, prepare everything else.

NVIDIA is launching the powerful GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card today, and it’s literally bigger than the Xbox Series S. The price could also be considered colossal, starting at an MSRP of $1,599, but so is the performance, with NVIDIA claiming that this the graphics card could be used for stable (and enjoyable) 8K gaming.
