Ubisoft Announces Major Update and Expansion for Far Cry 6 – Zinc 96.1 FM

Ubisoft held a Far Cry 6 Expansion Reveal live stream to announce that “Lost Between Worlds” is the next expansion coming to Far Cry 6, releasing next week.

The new expansion will be available on December 6 for $29.95 or as part of the Upgrade Pass on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, as well as Windows PC via the Ubisoft Store and Epic. Game store. Players can also subscribe to Ubisoft+ on PC.

In Far Cry 6: Lost Between Worlds, players begin an exciting new chapter in Dani Rojas’ story, set in a broken version of Yara. After their investigation of a mysterious meteorite impact site, Dani appears in a warped space between worlds accompanied by an incorporeal life form named Fai.

Players will need to repair Faia’s broken spaceship by collecting five lost shards, each of which will increase Dani’s overall survival stats and bring her one step closer to escape.

In each distinctive rift, such as a broken fortress suspended in the sky and an underwater Esperanza full of deadly traps, players will encounter various otherworldly dangers and obstacles.

Players can choose how to approach each rift, uncovering powerful weapons and tools along the way and collecting energy shards scattered throughout the area, allowing them to revive and retry the rift if necessary.

With multiple branching paths, platform exploration, and intense moment-to-moment action, the roguelite-inspired game will bring players a unique feeling every time they take over this twisted world. Upon completing the mission, players will receive a powerful Fai Gear and be able to take it back to Yara to gain an ethereal advantage in the ongoing fight against the regime.
