Among the most important are counterfeitscomedy based on the script from David Turk in a co-production with Netflix to two best friends who accidentally built one of the largest fake ID empires in North America. Before graduating from high school, Zoe and Rebecca move into a sick penthouse, make more money than they know what to do, and then they are attacked by the feds. Starring Emilija Baranac (To all the boys I loved before)Jennifer Tong (Great Army)and Richard Harmon (those 100).

On the front line of actual entertainment, Canada’s Ultimate Challenge is an eight-part competition series from Insight Productions owned by Boat Rocker and The Gurin Company.

The reality format sees the entire country in a giant obstacle course and six extraordinary coaches, including Olympic sprint winner Donovan Bailey, guides and mentoring teams from everyday Canadians on physical and mental challenges specific to the place in a unique competition structure.

Things The British Stole, meanwhile, is a six-part show by Wooden Horse, WildBear Entertainment and Cream Productions and is co-produced with ABC in Australia. It is based on the ABC podcast of journalist Marc Fennell, who also launched CBC Podcasts last fall.

The show is based on the fact that the British Empire stole many items as it grew around the world, and today many of these items are placed in noble institutions throughout the UK and elsewhere. The series tells a not very polite history behind these subjects.

Acquired international series include the BBC’s spy drama Ridley RoadUKTV comedy travelogue Traveler and the third series of the drama StudioCanal and Fox Networks Group War of the Worlds.
