Ninth season black list has an exciting end to NBC. Although it wasn’t as bloody a final for the Task Force as the one that closed Season 8 and killed Elizabeth Keenit brought departures of two staples series: Amir Arison and Laura Sohn, who play Aram and Park. Arison has been a key part of the show since the first season, and the actor explained his decision to leave in a touching message to fans.
black list he officially said goodbye to Aram and Park in the final of the 9th row, albeit without killing one of them. As Park left the Task Force due to her headaches and her pregnancy after an abortion at the beginning of the seasonAram decided he needed to take some time away so he could live his life and spend some time in New York without the plans or missions he had to take care of. According to Amir Arison in his Twitter message, his real reason for giving up black list also includes New York. He wrote:
I played my first play in 2nd grade and have been doing theater ever since. I’ve always dreamed of doing a show on Broadway, but over time, this desire has developed on television in the hope of working on a great series. 9 years ago, I auditioned for The Blacklist, a show that has it all: drama, suspense, character, comedy, relationships, and a rich character universe led by James Spader with endless opportunities created by Jon Bokenkamp. I was welcomed into this world and endowed with the role of ‘Aram Mojtabai’. The Kite Runner is one of the most unusual novels I’ve ever read, and its theatrical adaptation for Broadway is breathtaking and current. I couldn’t miss the opportunity to fulfill another childhood dream.
Amir Arison was certainly successful when it came to his goal of joining a great series, and few actors are lucky enough to play a meaty role in an action TV show for most of the decade. Although he made a special mention to the creator Jon Bokenkamp (who left black list at the end of the season 8 along with actress Megan Boone), made it clear that his dream of Broadway did not die, and had the opportunity to act in a theatrical adaptation of Khaled Hosseini’s film. Kind runnerwhich was a huge hit as a novel and originated the film of the same name from 2007.
According to Arison, he couldn’t miss the chance to be part of a Broadway adaptation as a childhood dream and join a “breathtaking” production. The actor is best rated in a project adapted by playwright Matthew Spangler. The Website for the production also reveals that Dragon hunter will run for only 17 weeks, from July 6 to October 30. So that means Aram could come back, until black list is returning, given that season 10 will not arrive until 2023? Arison went on to address Aram’s future on the show:
Showrunner John Eisendrath, producers, screenwriters, studio and network have incredibly supported my decision and Aram remains “alive” with the potential for a possible return at some point. For the story, it looks so organic with the events of last season, and I couldn’t have wished for a better result.
Only time will tell whether Amir Arison will return or not black list like Aram, but the actor mentioning the character’s potential return in the same report explaining his farewell seems to be a good sign for fans that Arama will see him again. The character certainly earned a break after the 9th season, which revealed not only how busy the time jump was for her. after Liz’s deathbut also all the new challenges he had to face with the new Task Force and consequences of Cooper’s rejection.
For now, you can go back to Aram’s earlier days black list through streaming services.
